All figures are Pontiac's AMA sheets, read off the page images. Height is for the hardtop. Weights are hardtop · convertible: the base Firebird's curb weights for 1967 and 1969, but shipping weights for 1968, because the curb-weight columns on Pontiac's 1968 sheet are blank and Pontiac called its 1968 weights estimated. On the same shipping basis the 1967 weighed 2,951 · 3,225, so the 1968 was heavier, not lighter. The 1968 sheet measures with two passengers in front and three in the rear; the 1967 sheet does not say, and no source we have explains the lower height from 1968.
