How it is made
Every figure carries its source. We have read 299 sources from 37 independent families, and two pages that copy each other count as one. Where the sources disagree we publish a ruling: 158 so far, 96 still open. How we verify has the rules.

The car drawings are made for this site from photographs on Wikimedia Commons whose license allows it. The photographers and licenses are listed under credits.
