Our ruling: 1967 is settled at 34,411: the table and Over-Drive give it, and the Camaro Research Group's engine counts (L48 29,270, L35 4,003, L78 1,138) add up to the same. For 1969 the SS was one option, RPO Z27: the Camaro Research Group counts 34,932, and Wikipedia has the same figure; the reprinted table gives 33,980. For 1968 the table gives 27,844 and Wikipedia 27,884. No independent source settles 1968 or 1969, so both stay open.
