Charger 500

The 1969 Charger built for NASCAR's fast ovals: a flush rear window and a flush grille.

The story

The Charger 500 was one of three models introduced in September 1968, and it sold for $3,860.123

It was not enough to beat the Fords, and Dodge followed it with the Daytona. For 1970 the 500 name went to a trim level between the base Charger and the R/T.145
